Workshops

The Offer The Dutch Acrobatics Festival has grown into one of the largest international acrobatics festivals with an enormously diverse range of instructors. There is a wide selection of workshops: 10 rounds with 10-15 workshops per round, each lasting 1.5 hours. In addition to pure partner acrobatics, related techniques are usually offered as well.

There are different levels, which are clearly indicated in the program.

Introductory Tricks To be able to work on the tricks in the workshops, you must demonstrate at the beginning of the workshop that you have mastered certain tricks or skills (usually without assistance or spotters). We call these entry tricks or, in English: pre-requisites (also abbreviated to: pre-reqs).

Are you a teacher yourself? Give a workshop! If you want to give a workshop, you can indicate this on the registration form. Keep in mind that the language of instruction is English. For the effectiveness of your workshop, you must provide entry tricks for the participants. It is important that these are chosen in such a way that those who master them can experience a challenge in your workshop, but are not unable to work on them meaningfully.

Safety When preparing your workshop, consider what the spotting instructions are for each exercise or trick, and explicitly bring these to the participants' attention.

Register your workshop(s) State your name, the title of your workshop, its description, and the entry trick. Attach a photo of yourself (and co-instructor) so participants can find you.

Workshop fee As an instructor, you will receive a fee of € 25 per workshop if you are alone; if you teach with two or more instructors, you will receive € 40 together. You can report to the reception desk at the end of the day to claim the fee.
